A very good 12th overall in Cooley thriller.

Mtbwestcork rider Michael flanagan recorded a very fine 12th overall in the high king of irish marathon races, the cooley thriller where a record field of nearly 250! was in attendance.  Mike, who is working up to a peak at the moment having finished 3rd in last weeks slighty longer, sheeps head Mountain bike Raid, raced to near his potential coming home just under 3 and a half hours. The race was one by demi biking god bob seymour who came in at the front of a high calibre field. Sets it all up nicely for the National champs in the bally houra’s on Sept 26th.
